xTool was founded in 2013 by a group of laser engineers who saw a gap between expensive industrial laser systems and low-quality hobby machines. They set out to build desktop laser equipment that delivered genuine industrial-grade precision at a price point accessible to small businesses, educators, and independent creators.
That founding principle has not changed. Every xTool machine goes through 100% factory testing before shipment. Our engineering team of 95+ specialists works from a 35,000-square-meter facility focused entirely on desktop and portable laser systems. We do not build industrial floor-standing machines or diversify into unrelated product categories, because keeping our focus narrow is what lets us make each product line better with every generation.
By 2024, xTool had shipped more than 500,000 machines to customers ranging from Etsy sellers running single-unit home workshops to school districts equipping dozens of STEM labs. Our 96.5% customer satisfaction rate reflects a support infrastructure that matches the hardware quality: 12 service centers, 60+ authorized distributors, and a dedicated applications team that responds to technical inquiries within 8 hours on business days.
